Hello I’m having trouble with my Asus tuff z590 board. I was a dummy when I got my nvme and cleared all my storage. I have gotten a new install of windows on a usb and installed it on my nvme. Yet my nvme still isn’t showing up on my bios as a boot priority. I was wondering if anyone has worked with this board how do I set my nvme in my m.2_2 slot up to be my boot priority?

If all of your SATA ports are occupied, it may also compete with the threshold of how many hard drives can be initiated and processed on your board.  I had to remove one of my SSDs to get one of my M.2's to work on my X570 because it won't allow for more than 6 hard drives, with an apparent priority towards the SATA ports.  Removed a SSD, M.2 showed up on my BIOS when I rebooted.

CPU: Ryzen 5900X | GPU: ASRock 6900XT | Drive: SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2 1TB (x2) | RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Series 64GB DDR4 3600 14-15-15-35 | MB: MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE | PSU: Corsair AX1600i | Cooling: Noctua NH-D15 + Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut | Case: Fractal Design Define 7

Yes, I share it with friends, and bought this at MSRP.  I was a listmaster for several days in NY.

My m.2 is showing up but it’s not allowing me to use it as a boot priority.

this is what happens when I turn on csm it’ll show up but not let me boot windows. Or install it.
