Mousepad cleaning

Sgt. Johnny

Hello,

I want to ask if anyone could share some tips for cleaning a mousepad. I have never done it and I certainly do not want to destroy the mousepad 🙂
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Warm soapy water and a nail brush works very well from my experience.

If you don’t have a nail brush get one because clean nails are also nice.

Alternatively just a washcloth and a lot of scrubbing.

I pour a tiny bit of laundry detergent in semi-warm water in the bathtub and slowly scrub in circles with a wash cloth or a sponge. Rinse and repeat 1-3 times and dry for 4-8 hours, mousepad should be good as new.

Note: I have stitched edges on my mousepad, so if you have a non-stitched edge mousepad then you could risk it fraying.
