this is like the millionth time me posting this but i get stutters in games like days gone, fortnite and a little bit on CONTROL. Ive had stuttering issues for a long time even when i got a new pc i still get stutters. Im on the latest drivers for everything i never overclock anything and yes xmp is on. i ran memtest86 and passed the test with 0 errors. i stressed my gpu for 1 hour on furmark and no errors it passed with flying colours with a max temp of 75 degrees celsius. For the cpu i stress it using cinebench and get very good scores ranging from 5900-6045(which was my highest score). im starting to reach a point where im literally desperate, i paid this much on a computer only to still get stutters.

SPECS:

B550 tomahawk

GX850 seasonic 80+ gold

Days gone and Control are on 2tb seagate hdd 700+ gb left

Fortnite and windows are on m.2 sata drive with 100+gb left

32gb 4x8 corsair rgb vengeance pro memory at 3200 mhz cl16 and xmp is on

MSI GAMING X TRIO RTX 3080 latest drivers on stock settings

Ryzen 7 5800x cooled by mag core liquid 360r

XMP is technically overclocking. Try turning that off as well and see if it still stutters.

What FPS are you getting? It can feel stuttery if your minimum and average are far apart.

Have you re-installed your games?

If so, and you didn't get the issue fixed.

Maybe try installing Windows 10 again on another drive, using this same rig.

OR

See maybe something is running in the background, some bloatware I am guessing.

OR

If none of the above works, then my guess of the problem, is related to the GPU.

Try playing games on another rig (if you have, or borrow your friend's rig).

i tried turning it off and didnt work. depends on the game for example days gone 165 fps max settings fortnite on competitive settings 400-500 fps sometimes drops to 200s.

Stutters or micro stutters?

Short term:

You could try to limit your FPS. If your monitor has 144hz limit your games to 144 FPS.

Long term: do not limit FPS while testing

Do you got BF4 bf1 or bf5?

There is a command that shows you a graph

Drawgraph.perfoverlay 1

Google it!!!!

This graph shows you how long your GPU and or CPU needs to put out a frame in ms

With that you can figure out which device has the problem, technically it could still be something else. (Spikes in the graph)

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite,  Ryzen 9 3900x, Dark Rock Pro 4, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix  RGB 3600 MHz CL16 RAM, RTX 3080 TI FE Watercooled, 6 Case Fans,  Fractal Design Meshify S2

You are awesome, stay safe and healthy.

MSI Afterburner also does this same kind of stuff

But as far as I know it doesn't separate GPU and CPU it throws in both. And we want to know where the problem is coming from
