Did my mouse die?

So I finally built my rig and everything was good. POSTed fine. Then I unplugged my KB/Mouse so I could move my tower to it's final resting place. Plugged it back in, got into UEFI again, but the mouse was not working. Checked all the BIOS settings, and restarted multiple times. After it still wasn't working, I plugged it in to my netbook which I'm sure it worked on. And now it's not being recognized on that either. If this mouse is already dead I'm going to be very upset. I've only had it a couple months, and didn't even use it much.

From what you said, it either is, or something is up with the USB cable (like a broken wire somewhere along the line).

Yeah it's the cable. For whatever reason it's working again.
