Can I render using only CPU?

Hi,

Can I render on integrated graphics and work normally, If I build good workstation, With new intel CPU, Before I'd get GPU?

3Ds Max will be what I'll use.

Never used 3DS Max so not 100. But integrated graphics aren't the best. It might work or a while doing simple stuff but you might get bored of the long waiting times and it might crash a lot.
