New computer!

Hello!

 

I'm looking to buy a new computer, i will buy it prebuilt since parts are basically impossible to find now adays.

So i have found two computers and i want your guys opinions on them as well as the difference between the two computers, whats good / bad / whats worth it and whats not money wise and so on, thanks!

Computer two:   (Around $1400)

Amd Ryzen 7 4700G 3,6ghz (4,4ghz turbo)

DDR4 16gb 3200mhz (2x 8gb)

Nvidia RTX 3060-TI (8GB)

512gb SSD

500w (It has no info on what powersupply it is in detail)

Noo info on what motherboard it is, maybe its so bad that it drags down the computer hence the cheap price?

Both have good value, but the cheap one slightly more. I would pick the Intel system because it has a good PSU and motherboard, not sure about the other so it probably sucks.

I am curious as to why they went to all the trouble to include a Ryzen 4000 APU alongside a 3000 series GPU in a prebuilt. Seems like extra money went into the CPU for no reason when it should have gone into the power supply - RTX 3000 recommends a 750 watt PSU. Also, that APU is gonna blow chunks at CPU things compared to a proper CPU. It is a decent value based on the 3060 Ti alone, but it's a value that I would recommend immediately swapping the PSU and CPU out of.

Ya but buying a prebuilt computer then change alot of things seems abit pointless, only a 512gb ssd too.

What do u think about the build above with the i7 / 3070? Is the cooler / motherboard and such good?

Well, considering the going rate for a 3070 on the market? I'd say it's a decent buy.

What u mean with "going rate" and i guess the i7 10700k / 3070 will be fine with 1080p gaming right and is the cooler good enough?

Going rate as in what they sell for. And yes, that set up will carry you well into 1440p and even some light 4k gaming.

Ok, cause right now i have a i5 3570k with a 970, normal hdd and ddr3 ram, so i guess its a pretty big jump then xD

The Kingston A2000 1TB, is that a normal ssd or a m2-ssd and whats best?

Corsair RM750, is that a gold edition psu and is it good? I looked it up and its like 7 years old

i do NOT recommend the second build because it has a very low wattage for the 3060ti. i have a 3060 ti in my build and i have a 650w psu.
