ok so heres my system somewhat old pics a few months.

i started this build last year in hopes for the 3000 series gpus i bought

10850k

2x16gb 3200mhz corsair vengeance lpx ram

2x 1tb samsung 970 evo plus

noctua nh-d15 chromax black

corsair HX850i

Asus tuf Z490 plus wifi motherboard

all inside a Phanteks p600s

note i plan on also getting a samsung ssd like a 2tb for games as i am quickly running out of space.

but i kept my old gtx680 for a gpu

not sure if i should try and buy like a gtx1650super or something for $300 canadian or hold out and wait for gpu stock to return back to normal

Alright im calmed down. Sorry about that last one.

Anyway, if you gonna go for doorstop card in this kind of market situation the best GPU you can get is the one thats available right now and preferably next to you. So imo, stick with the 680 especially with how nvidia stepping goes it should perform like a 1050Ti in game. Just dont be greedy with details settings on newer VRAM-hungry games.

Unless you have a 2nd system that you would use the 1650 Super in later I would just hold and wait for the GPU that you want to be available (at reasonable prices).

On a side note that grey Phanteks case looks awesome and I love how your setup is pretty much dedicated to just hold your speakers.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450
