I just moved to a new apartment, and what I was hoping to do was use one of the bedrooms as my gaming room with my pc set up in there with vr. I originally was gonna set it up in the living room and do a Linus esque thunderbolt run to the game room, but I'm not certain if you'd be able to run an index off a thunderbolt setup, even with cornings' optical ones. From what I've been able to find, using thunderbolt is kind of a pain anyway because few motherboards support it.

I think what I'm gonna do is set up the living room to receive in-home streaming or whatever. I do have a Steam Link and that works alright, but the bit rate tanks pretty far on some games. I was really hoping to go the thunderbolt route, so if anyone has any tips or suggestions I'd really appreciate it
