I recently build myself a new PC and I use it primarily for 3D rendering and I am contemplating whether I should upgrade my CPU cooler (nothing is overclocked).

Using the MB monitoring tool I get three CPU temperature and I do not know what temperature I should use.

This is what I have currently with my CPU under full load with the stock CPU cooler.

My current PC build is:

MB: ASUS TUF X570 plus

CPU: Ryzen9 3900 TDP65W  (not 3900x)

Ram: 64GB

Graphics card: EVGA 3060 XC

PSU: 750W

install hwinfo64 to get precise reading, and find CPU (tcl/tdie), in that screenshot probably CPU package.

That's the hottest spot inside the core.

The temperatures according to hwinfo64.

The max temperature and clock speeds do not change when under full load even with warmer ambient temperatures

At full load? it's normal to have 80c far below 95c threshold. Don't worry.

The stock cooler for 3900 is already good.

Aftermarket is definitely better but, in your case it's not that urgent.

Seems like expected temps, nothing to worry about

Though, what load is it under when you took the temps? All core 100%?

Yes it was all core 100%, the temps stay around that point the whole time it might go to 81 for a min or two but drops down to 80 again
