Hi, I am quite new to PC building and I was looking for some headers with my current plan. I believe everything is compatible, but I wanted to make sure everything would go just fine if I was to build this.

Here is the PC Part Picker page for the current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mRpZTJ

Yep, everything seems compatible.

Heres pretty much an identical build but in your currency. I also switched out the motherboard to one that is practically the same except that it has built in wifi 6, for almost the same price as well. And with that I switched out the cooler for a better(IMO) one from noctua.

However, SupaKomputa's build list is the better option if you could get the RTX 3060 and 5600x.

Thanks! Would you say using on board WiFi is better than getting that WiFi card that I had on the original build? I have proper gigabit wireless wifi right now that I thought I might need a good standalone WiFi card for

Personally I use onboard WiFi so that I do not have another extra part that I have to worry about or could potentially get in the way of a GPU or a capture card. Onboard wifi would also reduce the cost as it typically costs less than a regular mobo+wifi card. But a stand alone card would be better if you plan to upgrade in the future as you could easily swap out the WiFi card whenever you feel like it. So it would be up to preference, but I do not think there is a performance impact either way, (unless the board or the card is from a un-reputable manufacturer)

Note: I just noticed now you are missing a PSU so I added one as well

Note 2: I had to replace several parts to get the price within budget but they won't make a performance impact

Here is another build with a separate wifi card:

Onboard Wifi: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/X9Gvy4 - €1638.63
Separate Wifi Card: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/hJb4fP - €1670.97

EDIT: updated lists

Onboard Wifi: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/prVdVc - €1626.66

Separate Wifi: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/9Nq6t8 - €1673.97

I would have gone for those systems if I was inpatient.

But.

I would wait for it to come on sale.

Only thing is the RTX 3080 isn't on sale right now if you want to wait for it to come on sale you can.

Put you're old storage in if you'd like also.

I did have a PSU that I was going to use, which was a Corsair 550 W CV Series, although PC part picker is telling me that it will be missing an additional 4 pin connector. Would that be a big issue? It still says that the parts are compatible but it may require the additional power for large video current draws

So I checked out the PSU, Motherboard and GPU, as long as you have all the cables that came from the CV550, you should be fine.

An ASUS RTX 2060 was listed for slightly cheaper than the gigabyte one so I switched it to that. There isn't really a performance difference between manufacturers, so don't worry about that. I also switched the 3600x to a 5600x, they are almost the same price and you get a massive performance uplift. It will show a motherboard compatibility error but new boards have been manufactured with an updated bios for the 5000 series. I also found 3600MHz ram for the same price which is apparently the sweet spot for Ryzen CPUs. I added a 120MM corsair fan for exhausting to get better airflow.
