Subwoofer recommendations

I have a budget of 800 euro at the moment. 

The space for the subwoofer is 2.8m, but the speakers have to fit next to them without making my sound stage really small.. 

POLK HTS-12 400 euro : 43,50 cm width <- So could buy 2
SVS PB-1000 PRO 700 euro: 38 cm width <- Can only buy 1
SVS SB-1000 PRO 600 euro: 34 cm width <- Can only buy 1, but would have budget to buy another one in a few months. 
Other recommendations?

I will use the subwoofer for watching movies, anime for like 90% of the time. 

Have not experienced lower than 27hz before, so I don't know if the extra money is worth for the low HZ. 

Which subwoofer(s) would be good for me?

I am not understanding your layout.  How large is your place in total m^2? One wall is 3.8m and one is 3.5? Think your measurements are off.

 

I would greatly suggest a sub  that can go to 20Hz or lower if you can.  Ultralow frequencies make the movie, IMO.  

 

I'd shoot for dual SVS even if you have to go smaller, unless the freq. resp. is such that you lose out on ultralows.  Otherwise, i am a big fan of SVS.

 

If you have a small place, may want to get a house before you invest in that.  My neighbors hated my Mirage sub.

Yeah Total is 28 m^2
I live in a brick-made shed, which was not correctly build. So the wall distances deviate. There is also a small storage room on the door side as you can see in the picture. For example: If my speakers are aligned then the left one is further from the wall then the right one, because of this deviation.. 

I live around 20 meters from any neighbours so they are not an issue.  

But for the ultra low I should go for the PB-1000 pro right? Would that ruin the experience compared to 2 sb's in terms of feeling the bass or? 
FORGOT TO MENTION THAT BOTH SVS'S WILL BE FROM THE 1000 PRO LINE!

What I really want is to feel the movie, so that's why I am upgrading from a 150 euro Onkyo sub(27hz) to something beyond.

Right, the PB 1000 is a greatsub.  With the right placement it'll be fine vs 2x subs.  With such a small place, 2x would be difficult to work with I think.

Thanks! I heared a lot about the place being very booming and too overwhelming for the ears. Or is that something an audiophile would hear, but normal people wouldn't?

You'll most likely feel the boom and ear issue in the small space.  I advocate some baffles or other sound materials around your place to offset.  It really is how the room is built, dimensions, placement, how the wave develops along surfaces/walls, deadening materials (sofas, beds, baffles on walls).

 

You're limited, but using the settings on the sub, receiver, and playing with placement and furniture... I think you can come out with a good experience with it.

Got a few 25x25x3cm acoastic foam coming in the near future or do those only help with the high frequency's? 
My bed is against my desk in the corner and almost the entire room is blocked off by my couch, would that help with dampening?

Well it'll depend on the foam, if it's that cheap stuff with the... whatever this is (Amazon.com: 12 Pack Acoustic Panels 1 X 12 X 12 Inches - Acoustic Foam - Studio Foam Wedges - High Density Panels - Soundproof Wedges - Charcoal: Musical Instruments), I mean you'll need quite a few to help at all, they're not very effective. Thicker and denser paneling will help more with acoustics. It should help somewhat with the bass, but yes, paneling is most effective for higher frequencies. As for your other question, yes it likely will when compared to an empty room or a room filled with say, metal and concrete objects, however I don't think we can tell you to what extent it will help.

Was watching a pb-1000 pro review and saw this.
Now i am beginning to doubt if it's a good idea to buy it..

It could be that the guy has an agenda to push (bought multiple subs and wants to justify it), maybe he's just a sensitive listener, maybe he has a special situation or he's used to far better/more expensive subs, maybe he's just bs'ing you, who knows. I'd say it's fine, you're probably going to be fine with a second sub, And remember what this guy is saying applies should apply to most or all subwoofers in general, and almost certainly the subs you can afford. The dude is a random on the interenet, what he says (or actually, everything anybody says about audio) shouldn't be taken as a fact. How we experience audio is subjective, so only real way to tell if they're correct to you is if... you try it out yourself. 

You can totally go out somewhere that sells subs or speakers in general and try out that theory for yourself. You might not even need to try out two subs, or a pb series sub, just try out a single sub and see how you like it.

Oh, also no matter what foam you have, you usually want always think about placement ahead of time. When I'm thinking about foam placement, here's what I prioritize:

If you have anything that's rear ported, you'll want to prioritize putting foam behind those speakers. After that, I'd probably place acoustic foam behind any speakers or subs you have/plan to buy, and I'd put the rest most likely nearish to corners, if there's any left over, I suppose you might want to just place the symmetrically (for aesthetics) in an area that would help with the acoustics- Near to the speakers, perhaps just next to your listening position, whatever.

I just saw a "shootout" of a whole bunch of subs and the guy tested the frequency ranges with a calibrated mic in an open field. The SVS is definitely something to go for. Very flat response, a lot of power, and good extension into the low range.

Here's the video with some budget ones, he later did the SVS on his site. They went down to 12.5hz before failing the CEA-A standard.

You don't have a large space so it shouldn't be hard to pressurize the space.  

2 subs are almost always better than one.

1/3rd along the wall from the listening position is preferred but since your desk is there I think the red boxes where I show are best.  

Point the drivers towards each other.
