Laptop bad IPS screen

Hello so i got an HP G8 255 (3500u) 1920x1080 ips screen...and yes there is no way this screen is IPS,the viewing angles are horrible and the blacks want to get you blind or something

is there any way to find a real full HD ips panel for the laptop or any other way to fix this?thnx

If you bought the wrong model you can go to hp's website and search for your serial number and there you'll find the service manual where you can find display panels that fit your needs

its not the wrong model i believe,its one model,but the ips that is advertised its a bad tn panel!thnx

Well, it's one of HP's cheapest Notebook series. Yoou get what you pay for.

You could try finding compatible Panels and replace it. But otherwise, this isn't something you can fix, unless you buy a better Laptop with a better Display
