Budget: PHP 80,000 - PHP 100,000 (about USD 1,600 - USD 2,000)

Country: Philippines

Programs or workloads that it will be used for: Adobe After Effects & Adobe Premiere Pro. Purely video editing.

Have a build in mind, but can't decide on some of parts.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 (3600X) or 7 (3700X) or Intel Core i5 (10600KF) or i7 (10700KF)

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070 or NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti

Monitor: 1080p or 1440p or 2160p

Full Parts List:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 (3600X) or 7 (3700X) or Intel Core i5 (10600KF) or i7 (10700KF)

RAM: 32GB - Tforce Vulcan 3200MHz (AMD) or ADATA 2666MHZ AD4U2666732G19-SGN (Intel)

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC or B460 Aorus Pro AC

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070 or NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti

PSU: Cooler Master MWE 650W 80+ White

SSD: Samsung 980 250GB NVME (OS & Programs only)

HDD: Seagate Baracuda Compute 2TB

Case: Rakk Sinaya Mid Tower

Questions:

  • Does using higher resolution monitors affect performance in video editing or is it only in gaming?
  • For video editing, should I spend more in CPU or in GPU?
  • Is GTX 1660Ti good enough for video editing? If possible, please give the advantages and disadvantages in video editing when using an RTX 3060 and GTX 1660Ti.
  • Which is better for video editing, Intel or AMD?

Note: Budget is only for the Desktop PC, it does not include peripherals (Ex: Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor,  etc.).

Edit: Added note and grammar fix.

For video editing, get an i7 or a Ryzen 7. More cores.
