screen flickering while playing games (again)

my pc has a rx 570 (power color) and a ryzen 5 5600x

my monitor is a msi optix g242 144Hz.

i am having screen flickering issues with all games, however my screen does not flicker for any other uses including scrolling through task manager.

my radeon drivers are up to date and i have freesync setup, and my windows display settings are match up with my monitor Hz. i also tried a display port cable instead of hdmi, it fixed it for like a week a and then it started flickering again.

any one have any ideas on how to fix this? please let me know.

CHECK YOUR CABLES , BUY NEW ONES OR REPLACE THEM , CHECK YOUR CONNECTIONS , SWITCH THE GPU SLOT , CHECK YOUR MONITOR POWER CONNECTION. i told u this before (its ok if u dont remember   )

those are the only ports on the graphics card and monitor

it happens with all dp cables

oh , well try the hdmi , ports , check if the ports are clean , did u rage and punch your monitor , you couldve broke something , if your warranty is up them your screwed. (from my experiences)

no i never punched my monitor

the hdmi ports are clean and were always working till now

oh , are they the right cables ( say the cables are only rated for 1080p or hd but your monitor is 4k ) check  that

nah its 2k not 1080p , it needs to be 1080p 144hz+
