Blue = mainstream (just like the Barracuda from Seagate)

Red = NAS,reliable

Green = quiet and slower,used for massive storage when you don't need speed (eg. when you have an SSD)

Black = Speed,NOISE and 5 year warranty.

blue= normal use black =performance, red= for NAS, green= mass storage, purple= surveillance

is there any disadvantages for the red ones?

They are optimized for NAS use and they'll be a little slower.They have very high access times compared to a blue.

the distinguishing features of the drives, as well as detailed specs
