Hi,

I have 2 issues with my mobo;

1) During 1st startup the q-led post code for gpu wont light-up (Pic 2) (no display/blank) unless I press reset button then it boot up normally, which annoyed me for each startup. Before these im using b450m steel legend and never encounter these problem. I already check the pcie slot and ram slot (reseat it), remove cmos battery and still it happen for every 1st start-up.

2) Refer Pic 1, my mobo show no NB and SB configuration, is there a solution for these? Do I need to reflash same bios version?

Another thing is my GPU in AMD driver show it run on PCIE GEN 3x16 instead of 4x16. Do I need to upgrade the cpu (3000/5000series)?

My PC Spec:

Motherboard - Colorful CVN X570M Gaming Frozen V14 (Bios V 1005 - latest)

CPU - Ryzen 5 2600

Ram - HyperX Fury 3200mhz 8GB x 2

GPU - Nitro+ RX 5700xt

Storage - 256GB M.2 NVME Adata Sx 6000lite, 480GB WD M.2 SSD SATA

PSU - Superflower Gold Leadex V PRO 850W +Gold

Thank You. Hope can help me in these issues.

B450 only gives you PCIe 3.0

Which settings are you looking for?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Now im using CVN X570M Gaming Frozen V14 (Colorful Mobo) which support pcie 4.0, but im using Ryzen 2600, so do I need to upgrade processor?

I just wondering why my MOBO bios didnt have option for chipset (North and South Bridge Configuration), do i need to reflash bios again?

Any ideas why 1st boot-up show no display unless I press reset button to boot-up normally?

correct, the Ryzen 5 2600 only has PCIe 3.0. Although, it won't exactly make much difference, if you upgraded to something like a Ryzen 5 3600 the CPU performance itself would make the real difference.

I'm not familiar with the motherboard you are using, so unfortunately I can't comment on the BIOS layout. However, I do not know what chipset configuration settings you would want, because as far as I am aware, modern motherboards give controls for all the devices attached to the chipset in their own menus, such as PCIe mode and USB settings.

This can be caused by quite a few things. Corrupted BIOS chip, power supply problem, memory errors, etc. You might want to experiment with other parts, if a friend can lend some computer parts to test it would help you narrow down the problem.
