friend is building a new pc parts list is so

x570 gigabyte gaming x

ryzen 5 3600x

3060 gigabyte oc

16 gigs gskill ddr4 ram

storage is a single samsung nvme drive

 

 

ram is in correct slots etc everything is plugged in right etc

 

tried removing ram and re seeding 

tried booting to display with and without gpu (from MOBO and gpu) 

at a loss for what to do lights etc turn on nothing else seems to be working 

also NO USB works on the mobo

First things first nothing would display anyway if you remove the gpu, now are there any lights on the board light DRAm, CPU or anything like that, also is the monitor set on the right output.

If no USB work that indicates that the stand by 5V is not working which indicates to a psu issue.

What psu does he have?

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

yeah. that is a horrible psu. but it should still boot with it. Plug in a speaker to to mobo (if you have one) and check any beeps. also does any light in the mobo lit up?
