So I was just playing on my PC when it suddenly just completely shutdown without warning, left it alone for a minute or two, turned it back on and that happened. The GPU still seems to work fine, and I suspect this is more of a PSU issue. Ordered a replacement, just gonna try to stay off this thing until then.

For the curious, I'm currently using a Corsair SF600 to power my system.

Maybe, not sure.

Is this an extension cable going to the GPU?

Also I would definitely advise to *not* turn this PC on before checking the GPU and other parts for damage.

Might be caused by the PSU or not but the sparks were coming from the GPU…

I mean it might appear to work fine now, but whatever was causing it can get worse over time and new PSU wont help if the card is already dsmaged.

Go to a repair service if you're unsure about disassembling the GPU.
