where do i go from here

Got a laptop and I did a system image backup through AOMEI backupper my plan was to save the previous files and when I was done re installing windows restoring them back,

 but without knowing I ended up saving an entire system image, now when I try to restore the image through the AOMEI backupper software it says that either the file was created

with a previous version which I cant recall which one it was since I have been updating the software or that the file might be corrupt. I tried some other things like breaking into

the system image and pulling all my files from there but it says  that I don't have enough permissions, if you all know a way to recover my information either through the AOMEI

software or some other method I would sincerely thank you 🙂
