Asus Zephyrus G14 power plan changes to High Performance when plugging power in

Hi guys,

 

is it possible to disable the "feature" that changes my power plan automatically to High Performance when plugging power in?

Its really annoying since that also makes the CPU permanently boost to 4GHz and create unnecessary heat and power draw.

 

I tried deleting the High Performance plan but it keeps reinstalling.

You can adjust the power plan in control panel.

Or install PowerPlanSwitcher, so you can swtich powerplan in task bar.

You can change it through control panel and even maybe through rog armoury crate

Oh, I havent heard of that program, tank you.

 

The thing is, I would be fine if it switched the power slider of my blanced plan to best performance. That way I could just slide it back to the left, but with the high performance plan, there is no slider.
