OnePlus

Ripred

My current phone is showing signs of issues,I've already started backing up data and I'm looking into my options and so far I'm pretty set on the OnePlus Nord n10, compared to my current 6t it's a little downgrade in CPU but I don't mobile game so I think it'll be fine but it is a good bump in camera and battery NOW my dilemma is I saw directly from the OnePlus website for $100 more I can get the OnePlus 7t

Opinions?

Ryzen 5800X3D(Because who doesn't like a phat stack of cache?) GPU - 7700Xt

                                                           X470 Strix f gaming, 32GB Corsair vengeance, WD Blue 500GB NVME-WD Blue2TB HDD, 700watts EVGA Br

~Extra L3 cache is exciting, every time you load up a new game or program you never know what your going to get, will it perform like a 5700x or are we beating the 14900k today? 😅~

I'm still rocking a OnePlus 6T....though it's the McLaren Edition 😆

Which Nord phone were you considering in getting? The N10, or N100?

On the OnePlus site...Canada site at least... the price between the Nord phones and the 7T is a pretty BIG price difference.

Like $244 (Nord 100) vs $389 (Nord 10) vs $799 (7T).

ON TOP of that, the 8T and 7T are both $799.

One thing I'm iffy about the Nord phones is the rear fingerprint sensor.

I don't know WHO the part supplier is, but apparently there was a design flaw for those back-of-the-phone sensors.

They will prematurely fail. The phone just stops recognizing it.

The LG G6 ThinQ (that my mom use) was one of the phone affected.

Supposedly even the LG G8 and G9 versions that have the fingerprint sensor on the back, AND a bunch of other phones (not just LG phones) that share the same design/supplier, all have this problem.

Hence, I grabbed my mom a new LG G8x ThinQ while it was on sale for $399.

"Flagship" phone from end of 2019, running a SnapDragon 855? For that price, I'll take one.

Its actually a significant step down in performance and camera. From flagship to SD600 series. You're losing OIS. Megapixels is not a measure of the camera's capability.

I'd rather upgrade to the 7T

Good to know, thanks

I'm in the u.s. hmm so it seems that if I can get the 7t for $399 USD is a better deal instead of the N10 for $299 USD

$399 vs $299?!?

Oh yeah, in that case, go for the OnePlus 7T over the Nord N10.

Easily.
