Hey guys, so I was working on building a PC for my friend and it's my first Intel build. I ran into an issue on start-up where I got into AMI bios and it tells me to press F1 to disable multi-core enhancement on my motherboard if I want to use stock settings. Below that it says Next you will enter the UEFI screen.

To my understanding, F1 is supposed to send me to Bios but hitting doesn't make anything happen. He's got an Asus Prime Z590 with an Intel I9 - 10900k processor with no error codes showing up in AMI Bios. The only thing I could think of was that the F1 key wasn't registering as it's also the FN Mute key? Any other ideas?
