Hi all,

I want to do my first custom loop build and now I'm looking for a water block for a Ryzen 5600x. I don't care about aesthetics, since I'll have a closed panel.

What blocks can you recommend? Any sources where I might find information?

I was looking on the alphacool website and found the nexxxos xp3 light for around 30 bucks. Is this block good enough or is there really no huge difference between the cooling capabilities of the blocks of reputable brands?

I'm really new to this, but eager to learn, so any comments are appreciated 😄

Thanks in advance,

Smile

Whatever fits your board. EK, Alphacool, Watercool, Bitspower, XSPC, all good enough with little differences (like low single digit Kelvin at most). All modern blocks I know of have jet plates, they all have micro fin structures ... doesn't matter.
