Windows Search not working

When I click on the windows search Icon it works but when I try to type the whole menu disappears. I tried to go in services and to see if it is disabled, and it isn't. I watched a bunch of tutorials on youtube none of them helped. Please help it's really annoying and i dont want to reset my pc rn

Windows search sucks. Just get wox or something

Just to confirm, you did rebuild your search index right?

Does search menu itself close, or does it go blank? If it's going blank, try disabling Bing suggestions via the registry. Instructions here.
