No internet?

YoSonWhatUp

Just installed windows 10 no more than 10 minutes ago.... There is no Ethernet showing in task manager. I have my Ethernet cable plugged into my router and motherboard.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte H470M-DS3H

Let's ignore the task manager for now. Does it show up in the device manager?

Yup, that's what I meant.
Usually Windows should have a driver for this available to work out of the box, but for some reason that didn't work.
I assume installing the driver would fix the issue.

You can get the driver either from Gigabyte or from Intel directly.
I already found the correct driver:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25016/Intel-Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10

And if that doesn't work, create a new Windows bootable media drive and reinstall Windows. Maybe something went wrong during the installation or the download of Windows.
