Need help unknown problem with PC!

i would try different cables from the gpu to the monitor first, then try a different screen if one is available. if it does the same thing after trying those, gpu is suspect imo. full specs?

ill try to do that tomorrow, since its my girlfriends pc. I built the pc myself but i just forgot the specs odly enough. i also think its gpu, but she said the fans are ramping up sounding like vaccums, ive hear the pc boot up. its dead quite, so hearing this "fans ramping up" makes me think its possible psu failure?

i suspect that too, the graphics card is r9 290x, 2nd hand, but previous owner took care of it very well.
