Looking for new computer speakers

I had some bose companion 2's for the past 6 years and have honestly been happy with them but they fell off my desk and broke. I am looking to replace them for around $100, I know that is how much the companions are but I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for something better for around the same price. I also found Edifier R1280T which is the same price and was wondering how those sound.
