hdd issue

Go to solution Solved by Kilrah,

When it's new it's not initialized or formatted, open Disk Manager, it'll ask you to initialize, then you can create a partition on the disk and format it.

i just bought a hdd today, its a WD blue 1tb (WD10EZRZ)

the manufacture date is 2016, but its a first hand drive.

it has a problem, it shows on bios, device manager, but it is not listed in file explorer.

can anyone help me solve this?

today i found out that because of a new crypto that uses storage devices to mine, price of hard drives increased a lot(50% and more)

and ssd...               a whopping 400% and even more!! my ssd price just got 5 times the price that i bought 6 monthes ago!
