Ok so, before anyone says anything about a home user not needing enterprise hardware, This is a large school assignment where I am hired by a client to buy and install enterprise grade hardware for a company,

Things that I need
Cabling that will last 5-10 years (so cat 6 and probably 7), switches, routers, Wireless access for guests and employees.
Wireless connectivity for guests and employees with groups for (Administration, IT, Research and development, marketing and sales, guests)
Servers for the following tasks (DHCP, User authentication, on and off site storage, redundancy for storage, file storage for employees, controlled access to programs, DNS)

And (intraweb server that is accessed by VPN only, Webserver, and two active domain controllers)
Security office/IT office including security things like keypads and cameras.

This is a 2 floor warehouse that the second floor is quite small, but the main bulding is 5,000 square feet and the upstair is abt 450 sq. ft
And I need multiple drop points for ethernet as well.

and there are 10 employees.
There is no budget. As the employed, I have to make a budget for the company with state of the art hardware.

what would people recommend for hardware?

There is always a budget.  Just like there are always parameters like user counts, distances, sq ft coverage, etc.

Otherwise you just want us to list the best of each item?

Yeah, there is no real budget. We are being hired to install state of the art hardware while not going absolutly insane.

Okay, so no budget.  But not other parameters?  How do I know if you need 1 switch or 1000?  How many feet of cabling?

Also, if this is a school project, shouldn't you be doing the work and not us?  🙂

I am only asking for hardware reccomendations, I do not know much about enterprise hardware, rather I know about home networking

even then, there are no specification on what exact things that I need, but things that need to be done.

Figure how how many APs you'll need to cover all the given area on each floor.

Then figure out how many "multiple" ethernet drops are needed per employee.

Try to guestimate how many servers you'll need.

Cat6a is what you want, Cat7 is not an official standard and as such should never be used.

For servers you'll want fiber or DAC cabling for higher speeds above 10Gb/s

Remember ethernet is limited to 100m as well so plan accordingly.

My thought was 2Gb/s connection that is hardwired to the IT office then broken out from there. As it is a singe building, if the IT office is in the back of the building, If I have a breadboard or large switch in the IT office. I can just send a large cable (or fiber) down the whole building and splitting it off as needed.
