Hey all!
My friend asked me to help with his new media pc, so it's 2-3 months old and worked fine until one day it didn't. The problem is if there is a hdmi, vga etc cabel connected to it, it will freeze before the post screen, if i don't plug in any video output cabel it's booting fine. everythings seems to work fine but i can't test the processor or the mother board (i don't have any spare part to test with).
it has a10th gen i3.

So, if you plug a video cable in after you let it boot, everything works fine?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Yes

is this also impacted by sleep mode? If the PC goes to sleep, does the video problem occur when it wakes back up?
