obs setup help

Hi,

Would anyone like to help me out on setting up this audio so that stream can hear my friends talk as well? I'm having some issues.

The only way that people can do it  is through an app called Voicemeeter. This tutorial covers it really well.

Just to make sure first that you didn't have typo there. CAN also hear your friends? Or CAN'T hear them? Because former should be how it works by default. And if there's issue, then its because the software you are using to voice comms is suddenly using another output device.

OBS has two ways to controlling audio devices. You have 2+4 devices from settings. These are universal and are by default on for all scenes you have. But if you need for example scene based control of audio devices, you can disable all those universal devices and make each audio device as its own source to be added manually for each scene. This helps if you want to make sure your mic is muted when you have break-scene on (don't add mic as source to that scene).

Screenshots of your audio devices, both in Windows and OBS. Also what VOIP you are using? Discrod?

Your desktop audio is probably so low that it alone is causing your issue.
