Does EVGA Warranty carry over from owner to owner? I'm about to buy a EVGA 780 used for 5 months and I want to know whether the warranty carries over to me or is limited to the original owner.

If it's still under warranty time it's ok. They usually ask something like a "proof of purchase" so be sure to have that from the old owner. Also, seconding what was said, EVGA is known for having one of the best supports out there.

If I remember correctly (I was looking at EVGA's warranty policy yesterday) they say the original warranty will carry over. If it has been upgraded from 3 years to 5/10 years this will be discarded. The warranty counts from the day the card landed in their warehouse.

I have no experience of dealing with EVGA so on that front I cannot comment.

Best wishes with your purchase

Chris
