Budget (including currency): $3000 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA Games/AI Video Upscaling & Interpolation

Other details No peripherals needed. Current Rig:

i7-10700KF
MSI 2080 Super
32GB@3200MHz
1TB WD Blue M.2

Some Asus motherboard

Some 650Watt Power Supply

1440p@144Hz Monitor

I want to be able to game at 4K as well as improve performance on the video editing tools I have since they require more than the 8 gigs of VRam I have.

I realize that getting a new GPU is rather difficult but even if I could I want to make sure I account for any other upgrades I would need like a larger power supply etc.

This is already a great build. If you want to upgrade further, you can go for a 3090. You can also get a M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. You should upgrade the board to a MEG Z590 Ace or Godlike. Then, upgrade your CPU to a 11900K to make all your CPU's go full Gen 4 speed. Upgrade your power supply. It will burn when it is connected to a 3090.  This should be around $3000 for a full upgrade. For some reason PCPartPicker isn't working right now. If it worked, I would design a build for you.

Aside from getting a 3080/3090 or a 6800XT/6900XT, which you'll need for 4K gaming, you should be fine other than you'll need a higher wattage PSU (at least 750W) and obviously a 4K monitor.

Gaming at 4K puts a lot less stress on the CPU, so you're more than okay with a 10700KF.

I agree it is great build and I don't actually have any complaints about it. The motivation to upgrade comes from being just shy of what I need for some of my video editing hobbies. A 3090 might be a little overkill but anything with 10+gb would be good.

I also want to make sure I look at things like the motherboard it power supply so that is I upgrade I don't do it halfway.
