Hey all. I think I'd like to look into a new mouse. I tried an expensive corsair mouse and kinda really hated it. I miss my old FUNC MS-3, but it caught double scrolling and double clicking really bad, and any used one would as well.

What I learned is that I really like palm grips instead of claw, so I need a chonky mouse for my chonky hands. Probably something that has ring and pinky finger rests. I also really like two thumb buttons. Ergonomics are also really important to me. Right now I'm using a vertical mouse I found on Amazon, but it's not very comfortable and the thumb buttons are hard to use. If anybody has any suggestions I'm up to check it out.

I've also been considering getting a gamepad for the ergonomics, but most don't look much more ergonomic than a keyboard and are really expensive. Does anyone here use a gamepad? I'm curious to hear your opinions on it.

I've used an Xbox 360 wireless controller with dongle for PC for years.  I don't use it for every game though, mostly racing games, single player RPGs or GTA5/RDR2.  For first person shooters/survival games/mmos/etc I use keyboard and mouse.  If the game has an enormous amount of inputs I will usually use the controller if I can because it simplifies all the inputs - I have clawed (cannot extend fully) pinky and ring finger on left hand from old severe nerve damage from a biking accident.  I do grab the mouse in GTA5/RDR2 to shoot though, with controller in left hand, works well.

Have you looked into Corsair or Razer mice?

Have a check at Razer Basilisk, G502, or Corsair mouses.
