Xbox/Controller problem

When I plug in my controller it starts doing this - video provided

 

It doesn’t stop when I unplug it and I have to completely restart to fix it.

Games work but once I want to use my keyboard again, like to alt tab out, it all goes to crap.

 

Anyone else know what to do?

check for stick drift, can definitely cause issues like that. afaik the dead zone is either much smaller, or nonexistent, on pc.

I didn't think of that, but it still does it after I unplug it and even completely remove it from my devices.
