It was working fine until i replaced the ram and now it wont post. It says display 1 no signal. I have put the old ram in and still nothing happens..

I tried to "reset the cmos" because i saw it work for others, i unplugged the pc, removed the lithium battery from my mobo, held power button for a bit and then waited and turned it back on, still no post.

Ram is all the way in, I cleaned it and the ports for potential dust.

My display port cable is in the gpu and the gpu is plugged in all the way and powers on.

One thing i realised is that my keyboard is also not turning on even though its plugged in.

Pls help

And when you upgraded your ram, the PC was off and unplugged, right?

Plugged out, psu off and clicked power button to get rid of any remaining electricity, then i put the new sticks, was touching my wooden floor the whole time while touching metal part of chassis to prevent static electricity.

Try testing the sticks alone and in diffdrent channels and see if that works. RMA the possibly broken one ofc. Do you have an onboard post code?

I tried with old and new sticks, both and by themselves in all thr slots, still nothing. And what is an onboard post code

onboard post code

I kinda described it wrong. There can be a small screen that is displaying numbers. If u dont have that look if u have a debug LED. Consult your Mobo manual for this and then tell is what it is showing. Also look if every cable is plugged in properly and reseat the gpu

I have an old mobo and it doesnt have a debug led, atleast it isnt mentioned in the manual. Mobo is asus prime a320m-k, and i reseated gpu like 4 times trying all the display ports still nothing
