PSU static buzz

Hey,

So I recently got a new pc and it’s pretty decked out. However whenever I turn my pc off there seems to be a quiet buzz coming from the part where the psu and the power plug connect. I was just wondering if that sound is safe or if something may be wrong.The quiet buzz disappears will disappear when I turn the pc back on.

 

PSU: Corsair 750w RM750X

 

Any help or feedback will be grateful!

1. Unplug the cord and reseat it, possible it's not fully plugged-in causing a short.

 

2. It is possible the cord insulation is damaged or not manufactured properly causing a low buzzing sound.

    Replace the cord and see if the sound stops.

 

If the buzzing continues after these it could be coming from the PSU itself.
