Budget (including currency): $1200 not including monitor

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: school and games like minecraft

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I need help decreasing the price to $1200 and anything other things I should change

drop the win10 key you can use it unactivated

since you don't have a z490 downgrade to a 10900 non k

16gb of ram is plenty for most gamers

and get a cheaper ssd if you're just gaming

although still this is soooo overkill for minecraft and school, you could easily get by with a 10400 or 11400

Thank You for the advice

remember to quote me

here is what i would do

if you want less or more storage you could do that. also, if you plan on buying a more powerful gpu than 550w is good enough for you can change to 650w

Don't buy a 250 dollar M.2 SSD, I'd get a 240 GB SSD or a 480 GB SSD (M.2 or SATA, M.2 is faster) and get a 1TB or 2TB HDD, since they are about $50 USD on amazon, and the SSD would be 35-50 bucks, it would make a lot more sense.

If you plan on buying a 3060 ti or better I'd upgrade the PSU to same one but 650W. Other than that save up the rest for a gpu in the future
