I'm making a custom cooling solution for my laptop.  Lemme try and explain this as close as I can. I'm making a TV tray kinda. In that tray I'm drilling holes and installing fans that'll remove the hot air coming from the laptop. I guess my question is, would installing the fans blowing up towards the vent holes of the laptop be better? Or would pulling the air away from the laptop be better? I assume pulling away would be more beneficial. Because the other would cause turbulence which isn't good. Anyway that's what my hypothesis is.  Please correct me if I'm wrong, or maybe a better way entirely that I haven't thought of. Anyway any help would be appreciated.

Maybe you could tape a blower style pc fan onto the intake slots of the laptop and force feed it fresh air?

You could take the bracket off this one below for example. Maybe hot glue it in place or something.
