I am planning to build my first PC and I am planning to use the ASRock B85M Pro4 but at the last WAN show I heard that you cannot overclock at the B85 and I was planning to overclock my core i5 whit it. can you give me some more information about overclocking and what chipset you need.

Overclocking is like a cars engine and its RPM. your simply increasing the RPM for its engine to increase performance. If you dont want to get into it its understandable but if you do, you will need a solid Z87 board.

Ty for the help!

I do have an other question. When I was looking for a AMD processor at al the motherboards whit the FM2/FM2+ I saw that you can not use PCI-E 3.0 on a FM2 socet? Is the different between PCI-E 3.0 and PCI-E 2.0 so big that you can better buy a core i3 or a Athlon x4 760K?

No graphics card (even a 780ti or likely a Titan Z) can fully utilize a Gen 2.0 x 8, let alone a x16 Gen 3.0

You'll see a minor performance dip, but that's about it. Also, if you're going with dedicated graphics, Athlon X4 760K is the best FM processor to buy, even if you have to save a little more

I think that it is going to be this or I will chance the core i3 to a Athlon x4 760k with a FM2/FM2+ motherboard and a hyper 212 EVO
