just built my friend a budget system, everything seems okay, but the cpu is idling at 52 c (according to the UEFI) i havnt isntalled an OS yet.

specs are

BitFenix Comrade Case Black

ASUS A55BM-A-USB3 Motherboard

Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB SSD

AMD A6 6400K 2-Core Processor

G.Skill Value F3-10600CL9D-4GBNS 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3

Corsair CX-430 V3 Power Supply

using stock amd cooler, i know intel chips dont usually idle that high, but i thought maybe the APU's run a hotter? im thinking maybe i didnt seat the cooler correctly?

UEFI isn't "idle" so that's normal.

And as mentioned the temp sensors on APUs are pretty crap.
