Consensus about when will GPU prices normalize?

What's the general consensus about how longer will it take for the GPU prices and availability to improve?

I have seen some tech channels giving some hope for things to get better within months, but others say it'll be years.

Backstory/context:

Hola! New to the forum, but I've been watching Linus content since the NCIX period. I'm from Chile.

So! I have a GTX 960 & 4770K. I had saved money to finally upgrade the GPU on the current generation, and well, everyone knows how that's working out. This 960 has successfully performed through the latest games like RDR2, Death Stranding and even Cyberpunk after tunning the settings really carefully to squeeze every last possible framerate it can produce at 1080p, say only dipping below 30fps very rarely in specially busy areas, but usually holding up around 40-60fps, only making hard to play through the most lag-sensitive sections like shooting while moving. And obviously my worry here is that soon games will be too demanding to be playable at all for me. I detest the idea of buying from a scalper, but gaming is one of the few things I do and spend money on for entertainment.

Also to be clear, I have saved the money, but it's the product of a lot of work that pays very little, and a lot of sacrifice of personal comfort, barely getting any nice things for myself over years. My PC is the result of 8 years of slow investment at this point... before this 960 it served for a couple of years only with the 4770k's internal GPU, haha.

So, yeah. Opinions? Is there any hope that the market will normalize before my GPU becomes totally obsolete, or I'll have to resign to pay inflated GPU prices.

I think most already agreed on that itll be at best around Q4 2021, with most saying its probably gonna be more like Q1 2023. CPUs are slowly normalizing (ive seen zen skus going back to MSRP, but not all), but GPUs still have no end in sight. If you need a doorstop, so far as i can tell, old server cards been unaffected and if you know what the hell youre doing, you might find some good value.
