Good day,

I am experiencing this really inconvenient issue for the past 3 months, whenever I boot up my PC and login, the desktop is black but there's a cursor whenever I click my mouse. I can only go open up Task Manager and open the file location of whatever process is running in the background to open up file explorer, go to This pc>Desktop via the file explorer and open the app I needed like chrome.

On the first month or so when this issue first occurred, I can restart my PC and it works well after restarting, but now that workaround doesn't work anymore. All I can do is open chrome via task manager and/or wait for the desktop to load up. the issue isn't really that bad or anything, its just a big inconvenience. But It does some good like I can leave my PC on the lock screen after booting it up in the morning and do other stuff and I login to a fully loaded desktop.

I have tried:
*Updating windows: I have updated windows at least 3 times
*Updating my video drivers: Updated at least a couple of times
*Tried Win+Ctrl+Shift+B

My suspicion:
When I open up task manager, I always see a couple of apps like AVs, System Hosts, etc. hogging up the diskspace. I suspect that it might be from the big disk usage (windows is installed on a 500GB HDD, which is the only type of storage that I have in the meantime.) because it takes a while (at least a good 10-15 minutes) to load up the desktop.
