I saw Tek Syndicate's Pistol livestreaming it and although it has much more elements than what's shown in the trailers, it seems like an ok game with funny/amusing bugs to show your friends and all laugh at.

I'm still getting it though :P

No, I spent about 10 minutes in this game headbutting and licking things/being hit by cars, then I found this and probably spent longer playing it than the actual game, which I'm thoroughly ashamed of.

It is genuinely hilarious. It's better if you discover things for yourself rather than watching a youtuber play it first. But it will at least give you half an hour of great entertainment. And for the $10 pre order asking price it's actually pretty good value.

I'm just excited for the workshop content; there are gonna be some crazy mods appearing there soon!

Of course not, even the developer said that you would be better off buying some bricks. :D But it's your choice, the game is funny and all but you won't probably spend more than 2 hours playing. MY OPINION!
