I recently donwloaded the windows terminal (the updated one from the microsoft store) and would like to use it as my terminal more often. I have a few questions to do with it.

1. How can I open it/a new tab as an administrator

2. Is there a way to have it launch CMD in the windows terminal, instead of CMD. Thanks

No legacy command prompt and windows terminal are separate apps. To open windows terminal it is wt instead of cmd

You can set cmd as the default tab though in windows terminal settings.
