Budget (including currency): $CAD 1200 before tax/shipping. This total is to be considered without the GPU price.

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Rust, Ark, Valheim, Minor video editing

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Upgrading from an 8 year old PC which just doesn't like me play titles I want to. I'd like to run games close to their highest settings while still maintaining a competitive gaming experience. Currently have a 144hz monitor which I'm going to continue to use. Also I'm going to be running windows 10 on this desktop.

I was also wondering if someone would warrant a power supply upgrade in this build. I'm not very educated on the topic but Pcpartpicker says this build draws 374W and the power supply in the build is 650W. Is that truly good enough?

So about the PC part Picker thing, 374 W means at when all the things are starting to be used. But about 500-600 Watts is when your using all components to the max. I think this is enough for ya. You can also just get a 3070 for around the same price as the 3060 ti or 3060. Idk what you want, I would say just get the graphics card as soon as you can get it at a REASONABLE price. Amazon Graphics cards are all 2k when they're 4x the price smh. You're gonna have to wait for a long time for that gpu. Without it, you're not gonna get a working computer. Feel bad for ya.

Current Setup: PC

Gotcha, thanks for informing about the wattage details. I'm looking for both a 3070 and 3060ti, trying to snag them at msrp and nothing more. It's going to be almost impossible, but I'm not willing to overpay to scalpers.

go 11400 and b560 instead. as an added bonus, with the 11400 you will have access to a semi decent igpu, and while gaming wont be great, you'll have a working pc while trying to snag the video card.

Big nerd.
