Resizable BAR update MSI mainboard, what to consider?

Hi fellow LTT fans,

 

I have an MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon with a Core i9 9900K and RTX 2070 super. There is a bios update available which enables the feature Linus discussed recently: Resizable BAR.
Just a quick question before I update the bios, are there any things I need to consider before doing this? Is it worth it considering my gpu?

Thanks to NVIDIA for not releasing Resizable Bar support for RTX 20 series cards, I would not bother with updating the BIOS on the motherboard as it's most likely a Beta BIOS and there can be issues related to Beta BIOS's. I don't find it to be worth while with your current GPU.
