best way?

Go to solution Solved by aidantt,

hello, does anyone know the best way to connect computer to monitor for max hertz. i am new to the tech thing so i only know hdmi

thanks

Well getting the most out of that monitor will depend on which video card you get, and of course which cabling you get.

The cabling will be dictated by the monitor.

According to the monitor manual the monitor has the following connections:

DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0

(info taken from here: https://www.neweggbusiness.com/product/product.aspx?item=9b-24-011-367)

HDMI 2.0 AND DP 1.2 will support 240Hz, provided your cable and video card do.

But without knowing which exact video card, it's going to be hard to answer the question with any authority.

This thread seems to indicate the 2060 super will run at 240Hz

https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/ao7s4r/206020702080_for_240hz_1080p/

The 1050 Ti may support 240hz, but won't ru the game at anywhere near that, it's simply not powerful enough.
