Annoying text box

I got around this annoying issue , whenever I try to use an html attribute like class from the snippets in vs code it automatically gives me a text box. Due to this text box my tailwind or other class snippets do not work and I have to press Esc every time to use the snippets again. I tried disabling the extensions and also played around with the vs code settings but couldn't fix this. Does anyone know what is causing this? and how to fix it or any other hacks.
